The Team & Role

As our Content Marketing Manager, Demand Generation you will manage a content strategy that directly impacts on prospects and serve our customer acquisition goals. You will report to our Director of Demand Generation.

The Demand Generation Team sits within the greater SevenRooms Marketing function.

What You'll Do

  • Develop compelling content that helps promote B2B prospect engagement and builds top-of-funnel pipeline.
  • Develop a content roadmap rooted in our buyer personas and stages of the prospect journey, promoting content downloads and engagement across channels.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop original content in multiple formats, from blog posts and articles to paid ad copy, video, email and web copy. This may include producing content yourself and applying outside resources (copywriters, agencies)
  • Conduct in-depth research and develop content strategy in partnership with product marketing rooted in insights by region, personas, competitive analysis, SEO and keyword research, Google Analytics, market research, and strategic brainstorming.
  • Create a localized content strategy that applies to our global markets
  • Collaborate with brand marketing content developers, product marketing, customer marketing, and design to map and increase content across the buyer journey
  • Drive on-time execution and publishing of content through your own initiative and with the help of the team.
  • Measure and report on content performance; improve based on results
  • Help develop standards and processes to lead greater efficiencies in how we work and operate as a cross-functional team

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of experience in a B2B Content Marketing Role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics
  • Active participant in a creative development process
  • Capable of learning new technologies and determining its impact on the business
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment without sacrificing attention to detail
  • Must have a strong sense of business acumen — excel in project management across teams and for programs, working cross team and communicating internally about project descriptions and timelines.
