The Team & Role

As our Visual Designer you will work with the SevenRooms Marketing team to create visual assets across Growth, Brand, and Product Marketing. From case studies and one-sheeters, to newsletters and social ads, you'll help create assets that tell the SevenRooms story to our internal and external audiences. You will report to our Art Director.

Creative sits within the Brand Marketing team. The SevenRooms Marketing department is comprised of three primary functions: product marketing, demand generation and brand marketing. We will establish SevenRoom as a leading hospitality platform globally, delivering high quality sales opportunities and supporting our customer journey's from day one. We are owners and innovators with a focus on creating magical moments for hospitality operators, their guests, and our team.

What You'll Do

  • Support Art Director in ideating and developing creative deliverables for campaigns across all channels
  • Expert in bringing campaigns to life from start to finish while exhibiting outside the box thinking and adherence to industry best practices
  • Work with the Art Director and Director, Brand Marketing to further define our current visual guideline/identity systems, while ensuring agreement on the brand positioning and strategy
  • Help develop marketing collateral, including one pagers, guides, case studies, email campaigns, data reports, PowerPoint presentations, infographics, social media assets (GIFs/motion graphics), print collateral and more
  • Take ownership over communicating clearly with marketing team and external project partners regarding work briefs, requirements and deadlines
  • Adapt visual concepts to multiple mediums (print and digital), including web, mobile, print, etc.
  • Actively learn about the industry while gaining a more complex understanding of the social, cultural, and environmental impacts SevenRooms has on Hospitality.

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of experience with graphic design or interaction design required; experience working with in-house Creative or Marketing teams, a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally across the Marketing team
  • Experience or familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, Sketch and Canva
  • Proficient in project management with a heightened attention to detail
  • You believe details matter and scrutinize every pixel in your design
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task while maintaining a solution-oriented, growth mindset
  • Creative and strategic, with the ability to bring your ideas to life through collaboration and storytelling
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, delivering high-quality results with quick turnaround times
  • Versatile designer with a wide skill-set
  • Ability to switch gears quickly between projects while delivering a high-quality, detail-oriented work product
  • A strong communicator with a willingness to take direction and receive/share feedback
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles and best practices in UI/UX
  • Experience with illustration and animation is a plus
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry with an eye towards what's coming next across the industry

  • Fair and equitable compensation: Our compensation packages are competitive based on external market data. At SevenRooms, you can expect fair pay for your hard work and dedication to helping us transform the hospitality industry. In addition, we also offer equity in our growing organization.
    • The salary range for this role is $85,000 – $97,500. This is the range SevenRooms in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed remotely in any US state. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
