The Team & Role

SevenRooms is looking for a Senior Strategy Manager, Marketing Automation to join our team. This role is essential to the company’s ability to deepen marketing automation thought-leadership and evolve its strategy in maximizing value of guest data to restaurant operators. 

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining programs that drive adoption and incremental revenue opportunities. You will play an influential role in accelerating implementation, adoption, and value realization of marketing automation. 

Marketing Automation is emerging as a critical focal point of the SevenRooms platform and our team's domain expertise within this space is a key part of the business. Not only will this team blaze new trails in shaping how our customers activate their guest data, but we will also have the ability to influence and drive groundbreaking customer ROI. Being part of this team means you will have a hand in directly contributing to the evolution of guest data activation and marketing automation within the industry, and the outcomes we will deliver for venues across the globe.

What You’ll Do

  • Marketing Automation Strategy Development: Evolve and develop the marketing automation strategy to new, innovative heights – surface customer segmentation cohorts, expand personalization and behavioral targeting, orchestrate cross-channel journeys, etc.
  • Consultancy: Provide marketing automation consultancy for customers; identify net-new marketing strategies to package as playbooks for customers to learn how to get the most out of their guest data
  • Process: Develop scalable processes and resources to amplify the impact of efforts across the revenue organization
  • Drive Marketing Automation Adoption: Support initiatives targeted at accelerating customer adoption and health of marketing automation 

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, email marketing, and/or cross-channel marketing strategies
  • Experience developing audience segmentation, lifecycle marketing journeys and personalization
  • Familiarity with Marketing Automation, ESPs, and other CRM platforms
  • Knowledge of Excel, Looker, and other BI tools is a plus
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and data visualization skills
  • Ability to convey complex data and concepts to others effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to collaborate well cross functionally to gain stakeholder buy-in and drive a project forward
  • Experience working directly with customers acting in a consultative manner as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert
