Family Meal: Employee Spotlight with Sacha Louca

Welcome to Family Meal, our blog series where we shine a spotlight on one of our amazing Roomies. This month, we sat down with Sacha Louca, a Key Accounts Manager based in the United Kingdom.

Tell us a little about yourself and your role.

Sacha: Hi, I'm Sacha and I am a Key Accounts Manager at SevenRooms. I'm based in London and I joined in August 2023.

What's the most impactful lesson you've learned in your career?

Sacha: The most impactful lesson I’ve learned is the importance of sharing knowledge with others. This can take many different forms – from giving advice to simply sharing an update with a colleague. Sharing more information is always better than sharing less because it strengthens your team. Teamwork makes the dream work.

What do you love most about working at SevenRooms?

Sacha: SevenRooms is a global company. What I love most about my job is I get to connect with so many people. Every day I speak to coworkers all over the world in the US, UK, the UAE and Australia. I love learning about what they’re working on and what's happening in their part of the world. These are all really valuable opportunities to expand my knowledge!

What is a non-work activity or hobby that you do? How did you get into it?

Sacha: I am obsessed with coffee shops and bakeries. I love finding hidden gems and I find such joy in holding a coffee cup on a stroll. If you have a favorite spot in London, please share it with me!

What’s one thing you can’t live without?

Sacha: Blueberries. I can’t get enough of them!

What's the best book or podcast that you've read/listened to recently?

Sacha: I just started reading The Power of Now and I’m loving it.

Describe for us your favorite dining experience.

Sacha: I recently dined at an amazing Japanese restaurant. They knew in advance that we were celebrating a birthday. Not only did they prepare delicious and beautiful cakes for us to enjoy after dinner, but they also took a picture of us at the restaurant. They printed the picture on the spot, placed it in a booklet, and even wrote a very nice personalized message. It was very thoughtful.

This interview has been edited for length and clarity.
