Senior Manager, Restaurant Marketing

About the Role

SevenRooms is transforming hospitality. We help restaurant, hotel, nightclub and entertainment operators create and cultivate direct and person relationships with their guests. Our front of house, marketing and guest engagement platform boosts revenue and enables personalized service and marketing.

Focused on driving incremental reservations and revenue to our restaurant clients, The Senior Manager, Restaurant Marketing is a new role that will drive the creation, execution and measurement of marketing campaigns for our roster of clients.  This role will work cross-functionally with stakeholders from marketing, customer success while taking full advantage of the SevenRooms platform to drive business results for our restaurant clients.

The right candidate brings a mix of creativity, project management and accountability and is excited about the opportunity to help shape and define the direction of this new function. This is a client-facing role. Title and compensation are commensurate with experience.

This is a full-time position and will report to the SVP, Marketing.

What You'll Do

  • Take a consultative approach to working directly with restaurant clients to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns including email campaigns, paid social, google ads, direct mail and more
  • Present marketing campaigns and results to clients
  • Track and report on KPI’s to ensure marketing plans are delivering as expected
  • Work closely with internal product, marketing and customer success teams to ensure we have the right internal resources to support our clients’ marketing needs
  • Be a tireless advocate for our clients’ success internally and externally
  • Work with clients and third parties to ensure the proper creation of creative assets and campaign execution, including creative designers, web developers, PR agencies and more
  • Ensure that clients extract maximum value from their investments in SevenRooms and fully leverage our entire set of capabilities

Who You Are

The right candidate will be committed to being a SevenRooms product expert and a restaurant industry marketing expert and will bring with them the following:

  • BA or BS degree, or relevant experience
  • 3 – 5+  years experience in experience in client services, account management and/or digital marketing
  • Experience in current and innovative customer acquisition and retention methods across multiple channels (email, SEM/SEO, display, paid social, special events), including the creation, execution and measurement of campaigns
  • Proactive and energetic attitude with the desire to be a key player on a results-oriented team
  • Previous experience in an agency environment is a plus
  • Experience with key marketing platforms including marketing automation, social media, advertising platforms and Google products including GA, Google Ads and Google Optimize
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Collaborative, team player with the ability to also drive things forward independently

We’re searching for an experienced B2B product marketing professional to drive our client-facing product marketing efforts. Reporting to the SVP, Marketing, you will be a product expert and play a key cross-functional role in evangelizing our product with internal and external audiences. Title and compensation are commensurate with experience.

What You'll Do

  • Develop product value prop, positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy for customers, customer-facing teams, prospects, and Sales
  • Work with Product, the wider Marketing team, Sales, Customer Success, and cross-functional teams to gather feedback, develop, and deliver clear messaging for SevenRooms’ products
  • Launch and promote new product to customers amplifying the message through multiple marketing channels
  • Create and maintain sales collateral and training materials, including pitch decks, training guides and more
  • Create content that support our value prop and demonstrates our product and category leadership
  • Develop data-driven programs and campaigns aimed that drive onboarding, activation and retention of our hospitality clients
  • Conduct market research and maintain pulse on competitive product offerings
  • Run NPS tracking programs

Who You Are

  • BA / BS degree, or relevant experience
  • 7+ years of product marketing experience
  • Deep expertise in current and innovative B2B marketing strategies across multiple channels (email, webinars, live chat, display, paid social, etc.), including the creation, execution, measurement, analysis and reporting across channels
  • Previous experience in a B2B SaaS company or hospitality-focused environment is preferred
  • Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, Totango, MixPanel and Looker is a big plus
  • Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to distill key takeaways quickly

We are looking for a passionate Technical Support Representative to work directly with top hospitality operators across the globe to troubleshoot and solve bugs, questions, and requests. As a key member of the team, you will have a starring role in advancing our mission to provide VIP customer support to our clients.

About The Role

At SevenRooms, we are looking for our first Technical Support Engineer. Reporting directly to our Vice President of Product, you will leverage technology and software to solve problems and maximize productivity and efficiency for our clients.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with internal teams including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to identify and resolve Tier 2 product, feature, and integration issues
  • Manage client support cases on a daily basis, and document customer interactions and resolutions in Zendesk
  • Perform detailed QA of application and customer environment issues

Who You Are

About the Role

Our Product team is seeking a hands-on Senior Product Designer to craft and deliver extraordinary experiences to our customers. You will work closely with our world-class team of engineers, product managers and designers, learning about our product, mobile and cloud technology stack, agile software development process, and crafting features that ship directly to our customers. This role will report into the VP of Product.

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of SevenRooms’ Product UI styles, patterns, and standardized elements and interactions.
  • Manage your bandwidth and project pipeline to execute UI/UX design in time with our team’s software roadmap.
  • Provide prototypes/deliverables to describe interactions and motion to enhance UI.
  • Execute final, “pixel perfect” UI designs and package, spec, and prep for engineering.
  • Obsessively QA developed software for visual perfection, and provide detailed feedback to engineering towards revisions.

 

Who You Are

  • 5-8+ years of software UI/UX design experience; B2B and/or SaaS experience preferred
  • Advanced degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Enthusiasm to get your hands dirty in design - wireframes, pixel perfect mocks, and prototypes
  • Experience working on a high-performing, collaborative team in a complex and ambiguous environment
  • Very solid, current, and demonstrable skill in multiple areas of UX design (research, IA, visual, prototyping, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of the tools of the trade (Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, prototyping tools).
  • Crystal clear and concise verbal and written communication
  • Experience with accessibility, localization and internationalization
  • Experience facilitating workshops, critiques, mentoring more junior designers

We're looking for a talented and highly consultative Director of Security, Compliance, and Risk to help spearhead SevenRooms' security, data protection, IT risk management, and compliance programs.

You have a passion for hospitality and technology, and have in-the-trenches experience with cybersecurity, PCI compliance, GDPR, and SOC auditing. You are an advocate for building products and platforms responsibly and care deeply about protecting customers’ privacy rights and protection of their data. You are detailed, process-driven, and understand the balancing act that is managing risk. Most importantly, you want to be part of an innovative and hardworking software startup changing the world of hospitality.

As the Director of Security, Compliance, and Risk, you will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing SevenRooms' security, data protection, IT risk management, and compliance programs. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CTO and working with senior leadership to run a responsible business via identifying risks and ensuring compliance for our customers. You will possess both the technical and communication skills to be successful in this endeavor.

What You'll Do

  • Review, improve, create, and monitor security processes and company IT policies
  • Coordinate, monitor, develop, implement and maintain IT Compliance program
  • Create a framework that effectively measures compliance standards with information policies
  • Develop and maintain a strategy for managing security related audits, compliance checks and external assessments
  • Manage and implement PCI, SOC, GDPR, and other compliance programs
  • Create and execute a strategic annual Compliance Monitoring and Testing plan
  • Ensure IT compliance programs meet all industry applicable rules, regulations, standards, and laws
  • Track and ensure adequate and timely resolutions to all audit/review issues relating to IT compliance
  • Conduct Vendor (Third Party) risk assessments.Provide guidance, evaluation and advocacy on all audit responses
  • Create compliance reports as required

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in IT auditing and at least 3 years working with IT management in compliance
  • Preferred certifications include:
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    • Certified Security Plus (+)
  • Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT, and NIST
  • Strong knowledge of Cloud Security requirements and relevant legal, regulatory, and privacy requirements
  • Knowledge of network, web technology, encryption, virtual private networks, internal, extranet, security, cloud, computing (firewalls remote access) and security management

Who You Are

Minimum qualifications:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience
  • Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages
  • Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of Mid Market/Enterprise software selling experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation and writing skills
  • Prior hospitality technology experience is a huge plus
  • Knowledge in web / scripting technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and SaaS applications
  • Outstanding problem solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic Sales Coordinator to join our Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the full enterprise sales cycle from pre-sales to campaign execution and reporting. About the Role

About the Role

SevenRooms is looking for a VP of Finance to oversee and execute the company's financial operations.   • Experience leading a rapidly scaling startup or technology organization through different stages of company lifecycle (early stage, Series A, Series B, growth stage, IPO/acquisition etc.)

This will include creating and curating content to share stories about our people, in partnership with marketing, for talent acquisition channels (i.e., Glassdoor, LinkedIn, BuiltInNYC, etc.) to improve our engagement strategies across social media

Who You Are

  • 3-5+ years of experience in People Operations, emphasis on employee engagement
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including putting together content and creating a narrative to share stories about our people
  • Highly organized and detailed with strong planning and prioritization skills in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Adept at managing multiple projects and expectations, and working within deadlines
  • A bias towards action; you are self-motivated and always thinking one step ahead
  • A creative, curious mind with an ability to recommend and implement improvements
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office, Google Suite and HR and Recruiting technologies
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; HR or Communications background a plus

Senior Data Analyst

About the Role

SevenRooms is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to help disseminate data-driven business insights to each of our core teams. Reporting to the Director of Strategy, the right candidate will have a good mix of both quantitative and qualitative skills - you can not only manipulate large data sets but can also create impactful and persuasive storylines from that data. We are looking for an experienced analyst who is comfortable with giving data-driven suggestions to business leaders that will help drive results.

 

What You'll Do

  • Lead and own the setup of cross-functional company reporting, dashboards, and analysis based on an in-depth understanding of business model, operations, product and company KPIs.
  • Support creation of reporting materials for the Board of Directors and senior leadership.
  • Identify impactful project measurement goals and opportunities for enhancement/optimization.
  • Support various team initiatives by fielding requests for reports and dashboards, and provide advice and insight along with the data.
  • Help manage our Business Intelligence tool (Looker), developing and implementing new metrics to support business initiatives

Who You Are

  • Experience creating dashboards and developing dimensions/measures in a Business Intelligence tool, Looker preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets and Microsoft PowerPoint/Google Slides. 
  • 3+ years of analytics or quantitative experience in which you extracted meaningful insights from large datasets. 
  • Comfort drawing insights from analysis and building support for your perspective
  • Ability to simplify complex, large data sets into easily digestible visualizations
  • Ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships with senior stakeholders coming from both technical and non-technical backgrounds
  • Collaborative, team player with the ability to also drive things forward independently

Senior Partnerships Manager, Concierge

About the Role

The SevenRooms’ Concierge Portal enables corporate concierges from around the globe to easily manage their restaurant relationships and book reservations at the world’s best restaurants. Working in direct partnership with the largest concierges in the industry, like American Express and Aspire Lifestyles, SevenRooms helps to create unforgettable experiences for our clients and their members.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Partnerships Manager, Concierge who will own our current Concierge relationships and grow their success on SevenRooms, while adding new partners to our program. This will involve working with a diverse set of Clients to set and reach program goals, managing the concierge team and other internal stakeholders to improve program execution, and identifying and selling into new potential partner clients.

This is a full-time position and will report to the Director of Partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Manage, own and grow all of our Concierge relationships by being the external-facing SevenRooms leader and internal advocate for our partners
  • Work with a diverse set of partners to set program goals and ensure those goals are reached, while ensuring the highest customer satisfaction
  • Identify new and innovative ways in which SevenRooms can add additional value to our current partners, and execute against those ideas
  • Work with the Concierge Onboarding Coordinator and wider Customer Success team to build better venue onboarding and reservation fulfillment processes
  • Communicate daily with our Concierge Clients and venues to coordinate program execution, ensure program compliance and resolve high-level issues
  • Own the business metrics for the Concierge business, which includes tracking and reporting on those metrics
  • Be able to create insightful and easy-to-understand custom reporting for partners
  • Project manage complex launches that will involve working across all operational teams
  • Manage the sales process of our Concierge programs into restaurants
  • Be able to manage and negotiate enterprise-level contracts

Who You Are

You love technology, hospitality and have worked in complex client management roles before. You are intrigued by operations, project management, and solving multiple puzzles simultaneously. You seek challenges, excitement and a fast-paced environment. You understand the importance of making the client experience fantastic and will go to great lengths to make sure that happens. Most importantly, you want to be a part of an awesome and hardworking hospitality tech startup changing the world of hospitality.

  • 7+ years of experience, with 5+ years working in challenging, client-management roles
  • Has managed several large, complex B2B partnerships
  • Exceptional written and oral client communication skills, including empathetic listening and an ability to convey information effectively
  • Has 2+ years experience managing a team
  • Project management experience, with the ability to lead and handle multiple time-sensitive, cross-functional projects on deadline
  • Has experience with negotiating and executing enterprise level contracts
  • Ideal candidate has some sales experience
  • Detail-oriented, strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly collaborative with a positive, go-getter attitude
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding startup environment
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint or Google Sheets/Slides
  • Knowledge of Salesforce a plus but not required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
