Manager, Sales Development

About the Role

As the Manager, Sales Development you will oversee the Sales Development team reporting into our VP, Marketing. Our Sales Development team is responsible for generating pipeline through outbound outreach, partnering closely with our Marketing and Sales organizations to engage, qualify, and close business. You will be directly responsible for building out the team and driving efficiency into their operating models. Your core KPIs will be the quantity and quality of sales opportunities delivered to Account Executives, as well as total influence on closed-won business.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs)
  • Hire, onboard, and coach SDRs to be high performers
  • Own outbound lead generation and conversion rates throughout the sales funnel
  • Predictably meet pipeline goals from inbound and outbound prospecting activities
  • Identify target customers for SevenRooms through email, phone, and social channels
  • Achieve monthly quotas for developed leads (aka: qualified meetings) and closed business
  • Ensure team is maintaining active engagement through informed, creative follow-ups
  • Work closely with Marketing to deliver proper messaging and identify the best targets to create an industry leading demand generation engine
  • Think creatively about how SevenRooms’ products address market needs to generate interest and demand for our services
  • Partner with Account Executives to identify qualified accounts
  • Work with automation platforms such as Outreach.io and Salesforce, which play a crucial role in our data management and sales pipeline processes

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of experience working in sales/startups preferred
  • 3+ years of managing BDR and SDR teams
  • You are able to coach individuals on how to engage potential customers over email, phone, and in person
  • You’re clear, concise, and accurate in your communications
  • You learn quickly and are excited by new technologies, quickly mapping them to business processes
  • You possess grit and don’t shy away from challenges
  • You have experience setting metrics for teams and holding them accountable for exceeding them

Client Onboarding Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Client Onboarding Specialist who will develop and implement configuration and launch strategies for our clients. In this role, you will understand customers' current challenges in order to accelerate timely product adoption. Throughout this role you will continue to provide support for clients in the onboarding phase to ensure their long-term success.

This is a full-time position and will report to the Manager, Client Onboarding.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist restaurants across the globe to get up and running on the SevenRooms Platform
  • Successfully and effectively manage simultaneous, diverse implementation projects on schedule, and with high customer satisfaction; projects include implementation of different solutions including reservation, waitlist, & table management; online ordering, POS, marketing automation, and more
  • Develop and manage all client onboarding activities from project kick-off, training, configuration, data migration and launch to accelerate time to first value
  • Be a product expert, able to help clients learn the platform effectively and optimize their utilization based off their business needs
  • Collaborate directly with various external stakeholders to confirm goals, driving implementation of SevenRooms at their venue and tailor configuration and communication toward those those goals
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers and Sales Representatives to support customers toward product adoption

Who You Are

  • 1-2+ years of experience working in challenging, customer-facing roles, ideally within the SaaS industry or hospitality technology
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong project management experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Highly-collaborative

About the Role

Implementation Manager, Enterprise

About the Role

As an Implementation Manager at SevenRooms, you will be responsible for driving initiatives aimed at a timely and accurate rollout of our platform to ensure high adoption and overall customer lifetime value for our enterprise clients.

This role requires a holistic approach to the implementation lifecycle, including providing guidance throughout the on-boarding process and the ability to consistently communicate SevenRooms’ value.

What You’ll Do

  • Work cross-functionally across teams at SevenRooms to ensure a consistent client experience from pre-sale through to implementation for each onboarded and integrated customer
  • Oversee the implementation process of enterprise accounts including launch timeline and accuracy of timeline
  • Advocate for our customers while effectively collaborating with internal, cross-functional teams including Enterprise Customer Success, Enterprise Sales, Product, and Engineering
  • Plan, schedule, and manage project timeline and activities from project kick-off through training to ensure each project is delivered on time and satisfies the desired outcomes of a SevenRooms implementation
  • Ensure all key data is collected and entered as part of implementation to support data continuity as the client adopts new workflows within SevenRooms; be comfortable challenging clients that push back on providing complete datasets
  • Plan and facilitate regular, recurring project touch points to ensure clients are providing quality, complete data within expected timelines to support best practice adoption and timely-go-live
  • Collect client feedback and new feature requests in an effort to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Help Customer Success Managers ensure that customers derive maximum value from their investments with SevenRooms

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in Enterprise SaaS implementations, preferably hospitality
  • Experience partnering with Fortune 1000 companies or other large enterprise accounts
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to set priorities and be flexible in a high-growth environment
  • Excellent written communication and presentation skills
  • Solutions-oriented; proven track record of using your incredible problem-solving and interpersonal skills to achieve company goals
  • Ability to build consultative relationships with C-Suite stakeholders and have working experience interacting with cross-functional teams

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of SevenRooms’ Product UI styles, patterns, and standardized elements and interactions.
  • Manage your bandwidth and project pipeline to execute UI/UX design in time with our team’s software roadmap.
  • Provide prototypes/deliverables to describe interactions and motion to enhance UI.
  • Execute final, “pixel perfect” UI designs and package, spec, and prep for engineering.
  • Obsessively QA developed software for visual perfection, and provide detailed feedback to engineering towards revisions.

Who You Are

  • 3-5+ years of software UI/UX design experience; B2B and/or SaaS experience preferred
  • Enthusiasm to get your hands dirty in design - wireframes, pixel perfect mocks, and prototypes
  • Experience working on a high-performing, collaborative team in a complex and ambiguous environment
  • Very solid, current, and demonstrable skill in multiple areas of UX design (research, IA, visual, prototyping, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of the tools of the trade (Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, prototyping tools).
  • Crystal clear and concise verbal and written communication
  • Experience with accessibility, localization and internationalization
  • Experience facilitating workshops, critiques, mentoring more junior designers

About The Role

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our rapidly growing team! As a Product Manager at SevenRooms, you will be responsible for the definition and creation of innovative software products for our global customers and internal business stakeholders. Our Product Managers interact regularly with cross-functional teams, including engineering, user experience design, customer success, and finance. They also represent the voice of internal stakeholders to ensure we are also developing internal facing products and system integrations to meet their needs. This role will report into our Vice President of Product.

What You’ll Do

  • Define business and product requirements
  • Engage with product managers and business stakeholders driving a variety of business initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute on product plans and to deliver results
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout SevenRooms to obtain buy-in for product initiatives and to set expectations
  • Analyze and act on business metrics and data to grow the business
  • Identify our customers' needs and opportunities through data analysis, interviews, and research through quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Research and understand customer requirements, operational impacts and needs, competitive offerings, cases from Customer Support, and translate these into feature specs or product improvements
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide support for escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints
  • Working with the other teams to ensure a high degree of consistency in how the company and the product are represented
  • Function as the Product Owner for an Agile Scrum development team to define, deliver, build and iterate on capabilities

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of product management experience within Enterprise SaaS applications
  • A keen interest in technology and new technology trends
  • Able to set clear and deliverable goals. Demonstrate tenacity, commitment to deliver, and be accountable for results
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable working with large, disparate data sets and web technologies

QA Analyst

About the Role

SevenRooms Engineering is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support our rapid growth. You will work closely with our world-class team of engineers, product managers and designers, learning about our product, mobile and cloud technology stack, agile software development process, and testing real features that ship directly to our customers. We are a pragmatic team with a culture of shipping high-quality products that deliver value to the customer. We believe in using the right tools for the job and maintaining simplicity in our design. 

What You'll Do

  • Define, design, and implement automation test cases using Rainforest QA software
  • Perform manual testing of both web and mobile products
  • Become a product expert on the SevenRooms platform
  • Establish a culture of QA in every part of the product development process
  • Work with engineers to resolve issues and bugs
  • Attend and participate in daily dev/product standups

Who You Are

Minimum qualifications:

  • BS degree
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience (product, engineering, QA, test automation, etc)
  • Experience with agile / scrum development methodology
  • Excellent problems solving and analytical skills
  • Very detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English
  • Programming experience not required

Preferred qualifications:

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python, JavaScript

Who You Are

  • 5-8+ years of software UI/UX design experience; B2B and/or SaaS experience preferred
  • Enthusiasm to get your hands dirty in design - wireframes, pixel perfect mocks, and prototypes
  • Experience working on a high-performing, collaborative team in a complex and ambiguous environment
  • Very solid, current, and demonstrable skill in multiple areas of UX design (research, IA, visual, prototyping, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of the tools of the trade (Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, prototyping tools).
  • Crystal clear and concise verbal and written communication
  • Experience with accessibility, localization and internationalization
  • Experience facilitating workshops, critiques, mentoring more junior designers

Senior Product Manager, Marketing Automation

About The Role

The Senior Product Manager, Marketing Automation will join our fast-paced Product team responsible for the definition of our marketing automation software, 7X, for our global customers and internal business stakeholders. Our Product Managers interact regularly with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, User Experience Design, Customer Success, and Finance. This role will report into the VP of Product.

What You’ll Do

  • Define business and product requirements for 7X
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute on product plans and deliver results
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout SevenRooms to obtain buy-in for product initiatives and to set expectations
  • Identify our customers' needs and opportunities through data analysis, interviews, and research through quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Research and understand customer requirements, operational impacts and needs, competitive offerings, cases from Customer Support, and translate these into feature specs or product improvements
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide support for escalation management, make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
  • Function as the Product Owner for an Agile Scrum development team to define, deliver, build and iterate on capabilities

Who You Are

  • 4+ years of product management experience in marketing automation software

About the Role

We're looking for highly consultative Business Development Managers in Sydney to help hospitality operators better run their business so they can better understand their guests, be more profitable, and run a successful business that lasts.

You have had proven hospitality technology sales success. Your buzzwords are “guest data” and “direct engagement” and you know the best tips and tricks to connect with hospitality operators. Most importantly, you want to be part of an innovative software startup changing the world of hospitality.

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll work directly with restaurants and hospitality groups to identify gaps in their current processes and tools, recommending the appropriate SevenRooms solution including reservation, waitlist, & table management; contactless ordering and pay; delivery; POS, marketing automation, and more.

You will be responsible for adding new restaurants to the SevenRooms platform and collaborating with our operational teams to support the onboarding of those new accounts. You will foster strong relationships with these operators to guarantee a smooth transition as they come on board and to ensure they are excited about the platform.

  • Build, maintain, and grow a pipeline of leads
  • Sell a suite of products within the SevenRooms platform
  • Own the sale from prospecting all the way through to go-live, including product demonstration, follow-ups, agreement signing, etc.

Who You Are

  • 3-4+ years of hospitality technology sales experience

We are looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join our team.
