The Team & Role 

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to work closely with our Customer Success, Sales, and Finance teams by actively communicating with SevenRooms customers and resolving billing and services issues. You will help to introduce new processes that make the Finance team more efficient and ensure that the team continues to scale effectively. This role is essential in advancing our mission to provide best-in-class customer support to our clients and helping SevenRooms grow overall live & paying revenue. 

In this role, you will approach your work with attention to detail, empathy, integrity, and a desire for continuous growth – having a natural curiosity to understand the potential obstacles our customers might face and how we can remove them. Most importantly, you’ll be motivated by the happiness of our internal and external customers, providing billing and business solutions to help them be successful!

What You’ll Do

  • Client AR Support: Effectively answer and resolve customer queries via email and phone in a timely, efficient manner to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Sales AR Support: Work with our Sales team to execute and improve internal processes and provide transparency, including knowledge sharing about client communications and appropriate expectation setting. Serve as the connective tissue between the Sales and Finance teams.
  • Documentation: Document and maintain problem resolution steps across all clients. Make recommendations and implement them in order to continue improving our processes.
  • Prioritization: Identify, prioritize and resolve issues based on the severity of customer impact. Escalate issues up to AR Manager and Senior Manager as needed.
  • Customer Advocate: Provide meaningful feedback from clients to our Sales, Customer Success, Finance and Product teams to improve workflows.

Who You Are 

  • 1+ years experience working in a customer-facing Accounts Receivable or Billing Operations role, ideally within the B2B, SaaS, and/or hospitality industry
  • Familiarity with Zendesk, Jira, Salesforce, or similar support platforms. Experience with NetSuite / SuiteBilling is a plus, but not required
  • Proficient with Excel and data analysis and reporting
  • Outstanding written and oral communication
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and managing external relationships
  • Highly collaborative, positive, go-getter attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and results-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment; ability to manage multiple questions, requests, and bug reports at once, demonstrating excellent follow-through techniques

    • The salary range for this role is $60,000-$65,000. This is the range SevenRooms in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed remotely in any US state. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
