The Team & Role

As our Head of Brand & Creative you will work with senior leadership to craft and evolve the SevenRooms brand. SevenRooms is Operator first and provides the hospitality industry with the tools and information they need to create remarkable experiences for their guests. Your job is to bring that connection to the center of everything we do, from the website to social media and events and everything in-between. The Head of Brand & Creative will be responsible for leading and directing the visual design of all marketing campaigns and channels, as well as overseeing the development of brand identities and style guides.

This position reports into the Chief Marketing Officer and will be responsible for managing all internal and external creative staff. 

What You'll Do

  • In partnership with the CMO articulates the brand’s vision, the “why” that becomes the throughline for all creative executions
  • Responsible for establishing a consistent look and feel for the brand as well as refining our tone and voice
  • This role oversees design, copy and video resources; with each function reporting directly into the Head of Brand & Creative
  • Directly responsible for the career pathing and development of all creative resources within the department
  • Ensures visual communications and brand standards are maintained
  • Provides the creative spark that differentiates our brand and improves the outcomes of our campaigns
  • Manages the creative process from start to finish and acts as a service org to marketing and the broader company
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders from across the organization to bring their visions to life in the form of campaigns
  • Manages outside resources and creative agencies while managing a pre-established budget

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of experience leading creative teams
  • Experience working on both B2B and B2C brands 
  • Understanding of core conversion levers and metrics, with a demonstrated ability to deliver tangible results
  • Must be a storyteller who can flex style to match the audience
  • Demonstrated ability to evolve and modernize brands
  • Comfortable shifting from strategic thinking to rolling up your sleeves and working side by side with the team
  • Access to a rich network of creative talent to call on for various projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally across the Marketing team and broader organization
  • Proficient in developing project management processes with a heightened attention to detail and customer satisfaction
  • You believe details matter and scrutinize every pixel in your design
  • Creative and strategic, with the ability to bring your ideas to life through collaboration and storytelling
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently, delivering high-quality results with quick turnaround times
  • Experience leading design, copy and video teams
  • Experience or familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, Sketch and Canva
  • Passionate about the hospitality industry with an eye towards what's coming next across the industry
