The Team & Role 

As a Senior People Success Partner (Senior HRBP), you’ll be responsible for aligning business objectives with meaningful people solutions. You will be a key strategic business partner for the Product and Engineering organizations, providing guidance to leaders and ongoing support to 7Roomies as an employee champion and change agent. This is a highly impactful, cross-functional role with the opportunity to help us shape a meaningful employee journey. This role reports to our Director, People Success.

What You’ll Do

  • Build effective relationships across the Product (Product & Design), Engineering (Software Engineering, QA & Security/Risk/Compliance) and Data organizations. Develop a deep understanding across these areas of the business to provide consultative People guidance for global talent initiatives and programs.
  • Identify business needs from within the Product and Engineering organizations and present solutions to the leadership team and managers to help drive results in the organization. Drive People Success programs end to end, including design and execution of programs around organizational design, talent management, mobility and learning & development. Deliver results, measure impact and adjust to solve for the organization through each stage of growth.
  • Be the first point of contact to manage and resolve employee relations situations. Maintain knowledge of global legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing risk and ensuring regulatory compliance. Implement processes to maintain consistent support and escalation procedures with the Director, People Success.
  • Analyze employee trends and metrics, in partnership with our Talent Acquisition, People Operations and Talent Experience teams. Share insights with the leadership team, and recommend and implement solutions that are tailored to the specific needs of the Product, Engineering and Data organizations.
  • Shape programs to help identify outstanding internal talent for development, mobility or promotion and external key hires. Provide guidance around business restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.

  • You establish trusted relationships with Product, Engineering and Data leadership, and have a seat and voice at our table. You provide leadership with strategic, high touch guidance to help them lead their teams and deliver results.
  • You are an employee champion for the Product and Engineering organizations, translating individual and team needs into people-centric solutions.
  • You bolster the People Success team with your subject matter expertise and growth mindset, and help us scale our mission of setting our people up for success.

Who You Are 

  • Strong experience in a business partner role, ideally within the SaaS industry and in high growth organizations
  • Relevant experience partnering with Product, Engineering and/or Data teams 
  • Expertise in HR competencies including organizational design and development, performance management, training and coaching, employee relations, employee engagement and change management
  • Strong EQ with problem solving skills; demonstrates sound, trusted judgment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable with using technology, including Google Workspace
  • Passion for results; able to own and deliver full-cycle projects and results in a timely manner
  • Team player who acts with a sense of urgency and adapts to an evolving environment
  • Experience working with global talent (Americas, EMEA, APAC) and ensuring a connected, meaningful employee experience; remote experience preferred
