SYDNEY (September 17, 2024) - Australian Leisure and Hospitality (ALH), one of Australia’s most influential hospitality groups, has partnered with SevenRooms, a CRM, marketing and operations platform for growing restaurants in the hospitality industry, to help it enhance guest experience and drive customer loyalty. The integration is live across ALH’s portfolio of 300+ venues, which includes iconic locations such as Victoria’s Young and Jackson, Queensland’s Breakfast Creek Hotel and South Australia’s Ramsgate Hotel.
ALH onboarded SevenRooms to enhance its reservation experience and turn guest data into insights that increase loyalty and, therefore, revenue. It comes as economic pressures continue to impact diner habits. SevenRooms research shows that 68% of Australians are focusing more on the quality than the quantity of their trips to restaurants, bars and cafes as a result of cost-of-living pressures.
Through SevenRooms, ALH can improve guest experience from the very first touchpoint. SevenRooms enables ALH to drive incremental revenue though reservation add-ons, cross promote other venues if a guests’ first-choice is fully booked, notify them of subsequent availability, and improve visibility of guest feedback and itemised spending habits through POS integrations.
Since completing the integration in March, ALH has been able to retain over 1,000 covers by cross-promoting other venues within its portfolio.
"ALH is thrilled to announce our partnership with Sevenrooms, extending across over 300 venues throughout Australia. With SevenRooms' versatile platform, we're poised to efficiently handle our bustling reservation schedule and waitlists, offering customers a seamless booking experience right from the palm of their hand,” commented Paul Walton, Managing Director of ALH. “This collaboration will empower ALH with invaluable data insights, bolstering our efforts to expand and nurture our loyal customer base. This data-driven approach aligns seamlessly with our holistic data strategy, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of hospitality excellence."
While ALH’s venues all share the same ethos of providing the best experiences to their customers, each venue has a unique persona and vision. Through SevenRooms, it can create a consistent, exceptional booking experience across its portfolio, but that can be customised and optimised to align with the bespoke needs of every venue.
ALH also needed a platform that would scale as the burgeoning group continues to open more venues. Previously, it had to roll out multiple siloed accounts as it grew. Through SevenRooms’ group functions, it can create granular user permissions that can be allocated in line with its corporate structure, while collecting and collating critical data and reports within the same group portal.
“At SevenRooms, we’re on a mission to empower the best, and there are few groups that are more indicative of that than ALH. It’s home to some of Australia’s most iconic venues, and through this partnership, we’ll be able to help ALH elevate its already leading reputation, by turning guest experience into a driver of loyalty,” commented Paul Hadida, Managing Director, APAC GTM at SevenRooms. “ALH almost became a victim of its own success, outgrowing its previous platform. Now it can roll out an even better guest experience, unencumbered, as it grows. We’re absolutely thrilled to partner with ALH, and help it use SevenRooms to increase revenue, incentivise loyalty and continue to grow its portfolio.”
